Together we raised over $4000 to support our Parent-Teacher Organization! Kindergarteners will have a field trip on Tuesday to the Greenville Zoo, and our EC classes will have a field trip to the Special Olympics on Thursday. Please make sure your child has turned in their signed permission slip, arrives on time, and brings a lunch if they did not order one from the cafeteria. All chaperones must be approved volunteers who have signed up on the BCS website. Friday will be an early release day. If your child has symptoms of chickenpox which include rash, not feeling well, and sometimes a fever, please keep them home and call your child’s healthcare provider. If your child has not had the chickenpox vaccine and has not been sick with chickenpox before, public health officials strongly encourage you to get your child immunized as soon as possible. There will be no 4th grade tutoring. There is no school on Wednesday due to a teacher workday. Hello Sand Hill-Venable families! This is Dr. Stolte with our weekly message. We will have a Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting on Tuesday at 6pm in the school media center. We are especially looking for parents who might be interested in finding donations or helping with planning for our Spring Fling. Due to the extended absence of a bus driver, we are going to need to make some changes to our morning bus routes beginning Wednesday: Students currently riding bus 255 will be picked up 5-10 minutes earlier. Students currently riding bus 236 will be picked up 10-15 minutes later. Students currently riding bus 221 2nd load (Hilltop) will now ride bus 255 and may be picked up a few minutes late. Students currently riding bus 221 first load will receive a letter on Monday detailing their new bus number and times. These changes only apply to morning routes starting on Wednesday; afternoon routes will stay the same. Please contact Dr. Stolte if you have any questions about these changes. We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we adapt to staffing shortages and work to get everyone safely to school.
