Students in 3rd grade put on their safety goggles and experienced a squid dissection! The dissection served as the capstone activity to their first Wit & Wisdom module of study, "the Sea."
Over the course of nine weeks, students read a variety of fiction and non-fiction texts about the sea, explored works of art about the sea, and were presented numerous opportunities to write. All of this work was designed to support students as they answered the essential question, "Why do People Explore the Sea?"
