Congratulations to Mrs. Katie Speak on her selection as the 2022-2023 Enka District Teacher of the Year!
As a district winner, Ms. Speak will now compete for recognition as the Buncombe County Teacher of the Year which will be announced in September. The Buncombe County Teacher of the Year will then move forward as part of our Western Region of NC.
Sand Hill-Venable is incredibly proud of all of our staff, and Ms. Speak is a great example for our "teacher of the year." We are ecstatic to have her now represent all Enka district teachers.
