Donnelly, Sarah

Welcome to Preschool and School-Age Speech Therapy
My name is Sarah Henry Donnelly and I am so excited to be a part of Sand Hill-Venable faculty and staff for the 2019-2020 school year. I have been serving preschool, elementary and middle schools, in speech therapy, for fifteen years through Buncombe County Schools. I serve the Head Start classroom here at Sand Hill-Venable and I also serve Mrs. Casey and Mrs. Hamby's Intensive Intervention classrooms, Mr. Downing's classroom, and 4th,  grade students at the elementary level. If you have concerns about your child or student's speech, language, voice, or fluency development, you may contact me, anytime, here at Sand Hill Venable Elementary School.
If you have speech, language, or any other concerns about your child's early childhood development, and they are preschool age, please contact:

I am originally from Gadsden, Alabama and did my undergraduate study in Communication Disorders at Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama. I went on to get my Masters Degree in Speech Pathology at Appalachian State University, in Boone, North Carolina. After some travelling and family time, I found my way back to Western North Carolina in 2005. I currently live in North Asheville and love the outdoors, reading, writing, and hanging out with my husband, Sean, and my pets, Oscar and Clementine (kitties) and Cammie (my black lab).
