Hello, and welcome to ESL! I began teaching in Buncombe County in 2011, and have greatly enjoyed my experience teaching within the general classroom as well as the ESL classroom. I love to watch students gain confidence with the English language, and look forward to seeing your child progress this year. After my experience living and teaching in Asia, I developed a deeper understanding of what it means to be a language learner. I strive to create a nurturing classroom where students feel comfortable to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and be celebrated in their journey of language learning. I am amazed by my students each and every day, and am excited for a great year ahead.
