Soule, Casey

Welcome! My name is Casey Soule and I joined the SH-V team as an Intensive Intervention teacher in 2016! I have been teaching since 2012. I began my teaching journey in an Autism specific classroom where I taught for 4 years. I received my degree in Special Education: Adapted Curriculum from Appalachian State University.

I teach because I truly believe that everyone is capable. I believe that every person can learn and has the right to the highest quality free education. I teach because I believe that every person has the right to be a successful, contributing member of society. I teach because everyone truly means everyone. I teach to provide the strategies and supports that make it possible for all students to grow, learn, and contribute. I teach to provide dignity and independence.

I moved to Asheville from Daytona Beach, Florida in 2012. I live with my husband, son, cat, and dog. We enjoy going on hiking trips as a family, except for the cat!
